Have you seen the most recent Hellboy film? The Golden Army one?
In one scene, they're talking to a Troll who looks like it's holding a talking baby. It turns out that the baby is actually a tumor attached to the Troll. It says 'I'm not a baby, I'm a tumor!'.
I can imagine that kitten saying the same thing.
