Description
The little peafowl filly settled down, her angel costume perfect. She'd returned from a nice night of trick or treating, and promptly dug into the bag of candy she'd obtained. A bit later, her muzzle covered in chocolate, she began to dream. It started out nice enough, King and Armegadon doing their own thing, with the joker Nordanner eyeing the mares that roamed around. A mist rolled in, nothing out of the unusual, other than the faint music that floated in. The pair perked up, with Armegadon more on the offensive than King. Deep within the mist was a shimmering light. The pair followed the light and music, and were soon pulled through to another land. They had crossed the veil into Nightmare territory. The pair parted each other, looking around. King heard odd music start, followed by a dark voice. (music: www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCyRVE… ) An odd look crossed his face as the deep red Disturbed Nightmare, known as the Fallen, pranced around and sang along with the song. He engaged King with his odd magicks, though after a while the Joker grew bored, that was until he saw the female nightmares and smirked.

Meanwhile, Armegadon had encountered one of the deadliest Disturbed Nightmares, Bound Seduction. The two stallions stared each other down before charging and clashing with hoof and tooth. Seduction saw nothing but food, and Armegadon was just being himself. The pair fought, with Seduction's sharp teeth ripping black flesh, spilling blood, but, because it was a dream, the pair healed, thanks to Invi and to the fact that the Fallen's orb healed predator and prey alike. Blood curdling sounds echoed throughout the dreamscape as the pair fought. Just as Seduction threw Armegadon to the ground, readying the final blow, and King was about to make it with the psychotic Frei, the bubble burst, and little Invi leaped up, eyes wide and frightened.

She looked around, she was home, and not watching a bloodbath. However, she did not notice that some of her candy was missing, nor did she see the fading light of the orbs belonging to the geeky Dungeon Master. He'd used his red and black orb to manifest the Nightmare spell, so he could steal some of her sweets.

"Too much chocolate, never again. I was told to not go to sleep with a tummy full of chocolate..." She mused as she tried to shake off the nightmare, attempting to fall back asleep.

I immediately had the idea of the fight scene, and had to work it in. What better way than a candy induced nightmare? I should mention I have WAY too much fun drawing Disturbed Nightmares.
