Description
A relatively small ichthyosaur (about 1m-3ft) It is believed to be the earliest ichthyosaur to possess a dorsal fin, its head was conspicuously larger heads compared to their bodies. Despite being a "slow swimmer" that longer lower lobe may have gave them a quick burst of speed if needed.
its name surprisingly means "mixed lizard"
