Description

After edit-arting "Undead Warband Leader Acansia" by Niso (www.deviantart.com/evilno/art/… ) I decided to make a DnD character for a new campaign from the image and ended up with a Dhampir Eldritch Knight with the Noble background, but Niso's art does not show off the face all too well so I found this piece online and worked on it to make her look like a vampire. The original art apparently has no creator as it has been shared and uploaded so many times by so many people that I can not find its original artist, so if anyone has any idea please let me know so I can give credit!

Nsichas Hadam – Shoshana Arpad

Shoshana, often shortened to Shana, was the daughter of nobles: a vampire king and his mortal queen who together ruled over a small country which had been ruled by the king’s family for hundreds of years before the king became a vampire. Shana and her two siblings, a brother and sister, where raised with tutors and a level of luxury unknown by the commoners of her land but despite this comfort she held a dark hunger from a young age. Her father recognized this desire for blood and had Shana train with the knights of the larger realm and study the arcane by the court wizard of a larger neighboring country, all so that she could attain the discipline required to control the urge for blood: she came into her own when knighted as Nsichas Hadam: Princess of Blood. But the reality of being a Dhampir had not yet been tamed by the young royal family, and on one dark night Shana primal hunger drained many commoners of their life.

This event and the incidents to follow lead to whispers of a rising vampire threat in the land and the peasantry rioted against the blood drinking king, Shana’s vampiric father, Niv Arpad. Seeking power and revenge for generations of servitude, the king’s retainers turned on the royal family and with the entire community aimed for their necks, the family fled in exile to the capital of the region and to the high king’s court to take refugee in Royal society while awaiting the reclaiming of their lands. Shana was overwhelmed with guilt and the half hollow pity of other nobles mixed with the pain of her parents’ humiliation drove her to embark on a knightly quest of to gain honor and glory for her family.

Shana however was not in position to enter the life of an adventurer due to her family situation, so she was only able to take a few items of value with her: the most important being a royal knight’s helm which hides her Dhapire identity.

Personality: Does not place herself above the common folk, all people are equally open to flaw and failure.

Ideal: Power: If she can obtain power then no one will betray her or her family again.

Bond: She will face any challenge to bring honor and power to her family.

Flaw: She has an insatiable desire for blood.

Shana has a negative charisma modifier and as a result is very socially awkward, choosing instead to speak with action and not words: she does not speak often and prefers to motion with her hands to communicate.
