anyway, my first attempt to colour in SAI, I have no idea how I made this pic |D;; I think I failed quite bad... at least I know were to go if I want soft shading...
couldn't come up with a good bg either
so if you have tips or know a good tutorial about colouring in SAI plz tell me C:
midna was fun to draw again, might scrap later though
drew her 2 years ago quite a difference XD

The lack of a back ground I think adds to the dynamic of this piece, allowing greater contrast with Midna's darker colours and the black twilight.

sheesh I just love your style! it's so clean and you capture expressions PERFECTLY! There's always something I can learn from in your pictures >3< The shading and detail in this are incredible, that stone mask is pretty darn spiffy. and the glowing markings..woah, hardcore 8DD XDDD

I love all the details you added to her, from the markings on her body to the details on her helmet (though I SWEAR her helmet covers her right eye, but everyone seems to get that mixed up, lol).

Wow, such vivid color contrasting with the monotone background. I like her pose too. The hair-fist twisting about her as well as the uber-mischievous grin she's sporting screams her personality. Well done.
