Griffin isn't the type to start up a conversation, he is more of a listener if anything. But If you choose to let him let him listen, you outta be careful. He's rather skilled at picking out details and latent details you might have forgotten, it's rather cruel. He sources more of his observations based off gut feelings. While he is superior in logic, his social behavior is heavily reliant on his previous experiences. As an individual, he's ambitious and is more likely to lean towards acts that could potentially create a ripple effect for the better and thinks several steps ahead. THE CHILD
  Ignorance is bliss. A life lived without pain is a life without lessons, without inspiration, without perseverance. There's no reason to run when there's no reason to chase, so why run when you can walk.
Griffin was born into a wealthy family where their own jobs were to make money, making Griffin unaware his privilege. The boy was gifted at a young age as he excelled in English, Philosophy, taking complicated appliances apart, putting them back together impeccably and chess. While he may be the child genius, he lacked tremendously at relating with his peers, often jesting morbidly or coming off as awkward. His street smarts made him naive and seemingly inappropriate in social settings.

THE INNOVATOR

There was a man in Griffin's life he never seemed to hear about, his grandfather. Though no one ever seemed to question his absence, Griffin did and spent countless hours researching the missing man. Upon finding his journal, his usual life of complicated mathematics and equations warped into ideas, ambitions and aspirations as he scanned the pages of the book. Each page felt alive with ideas for a brighter future, in its cover wrote the an address. After bribing a family chauffeur, he was lead to the poorer part of the city where he approached the address. It was none other than his grandfather Shepard Yurei's who was shunned by the Yakouseis after being unable to fulfill their deeds of being a Yakousei. His grandfather was a selfless man and wanted to aid those in need instead of profitting from them. The man was never able to fulfill his dreams but a boy (Griffin) voluntarily filled his space after being inspired by his simple life. A world beyond his rich neighborhood, a world beyond his ignorance.

THE SACRIFICE

TLDR; Griffin continued to sneak out when he had the chance to visit his grandfather. Together, they settled on a campaign to restore health to those who could not afford it by making bionics that were affordable and available to the poor. After series of failed bionics, they finally were able to program a successful bionic torso that would replace the first few layers of flesh and muscle of in individual's body. Transplanting it was a risk, but Griffin stepped onto the plate and offered to be the first guinea pig for the sake of their campaign. It failed to no success and ultimately, his parents found out.

THE DREAMER


The fear that sat in his parent's hearts were like no other. There was no implant large enough to cover the area the bionic took care of. After several medical procedures and visits from certified engineers, his grandfather's and his' bionic torso was fully functional after treating his infections. The programming and engineering were impeccable for the two of them, yet Griffin shed tears. Not of fear this time, but frustration and anger. Livid for his ineptitude and failure. The boy wonder who had never failed to solve a puzzle faces his first failure, and he fell like none other. Griffin was soon released from the hospital as he was forced to live with a memory of his failure.
Guilt wallowed in his throat till it came out in a sobs. He needed to know more, he needed to learn more, he needed more resources and most of all, he needed more time. His grandfather's own biological clock was beginning to tick it's last seconds and Griffin couldn't leave the man without first fulfilling the future he was alienated for. The boy pitied himself until he remembered a name SPECTER. It first appeared before his hospital TV. Memories of his TV shows suddenly interrupted to promote it.
"Have you ever dreamed of a brighter future?"
"A future for those in need?"
"To save those who couldn't otherwise save themselves?"
Griffin was aware of those who joined were promised rewards, and it was a chance for him to redeem his grandfather and him. He knew of it's popularity but those who chose to share their identities raised suspicion. But what did it matter when you could just uninstall? The boy, out of options, pressed install. Before long, he was directed to an address in the deserted part of the city, this time he chose to go alone. The woman handed him a badge for his membership. As he opened his mouth to ask about the challenges the app sent him she disappeared, but his grandfather's legacy remained.
