Description The Skinned Slab is the next step in Ver'Rahl's research into the linking of living hosts to undead bodies. Starting with Coffeurs, he has made strides  in creating organic bodies that can be steered by living (or undead) pilots.  He does this because normal undead are feral and not very smart. This process, however, will allow the smarts of one being to be combined with the brawn and power of an undead beast. By connecting the nervous system of the two, he can create monstrous soldiers of dangerous strength and intelligence.

The Skinned Slab is one of these creations, a giant brain-dead creature that requires a pilot. The beaked maw of this monster opens up into a cavity in which a pilot climbs and is linked up through spinal spikes and burrowing tentacles. The maw is then closed and the pilot gains control of the massive body. With the jaws closed, the pilot is safe from attack, as the hard beak and teeth can take a lot of punishment. And though the Skinned Slab looks fat and doughy, it allows it to absorb many attacks without any serious damage. The fleshy arms are tough and built for smashing and crushing. The whole beast is designed to plow through defenses and crush prey. The three eyes are linked to the pilot, who uses them to see the outside world.

With such a tough build and heavy body, it takes a lot of damage in order to even slow the monster. The only way to efficiently defeat the large beast is to remove or kill the pilot. Or else it will take an army's worth of arrows and steel to bring the monster down by brute force.

The Skinned Slab is the only one of its kind and is piloted only by General Nekrosis. His strategy and blood lust turns this odd creation into an engine of destruction.

An update for an old undead design I did a while back. Once again, there are some added stuff I like, and there are some stuff I do not. Will this cycle of updating and redesigning ever end? Probably not.

this abomination is still one of my favorites. I love how its fleshiness is utilized and its mouth looks so unique and awesome! the world needs more piloted Fleshes (like Mechs, but Flesh like here.)

I enjoy this weirdo as well, its slab-like body has always been a fun design to me. Having more piloted organic abominations would be interesting, but their invasive synchronization system would be quite painful.

Yes, that could pose a problem maybe. But it'll be interesting to see how people try to find a way around it.

Well, careful with muggers...actually no, who would want to get anywhere near him?! But getting those things robbed might be a possibility.

Yeah, I don't think anybody is going to get close to that thing, unless they want to be smeared across the cobblestones.

With a certain order of knights around...that is gonna happen sooner or later. if not by them, then the crazy world they're in! I bet one day it will be left unattended long enough for someone to take it.

Never leave your flesh vehicle unattended in shady parts of town, and definitely keep it away from slimes and other creatures who won't be put off by its invasive interface system.

That would be hilarious, the general going into a castle to strike a "deal" and then notice that the Skinned Slab he used to scare all guards away has been stolen...

And then Ver'Rahl is confused why the Slab is stomping its way back towards his army when he was positive that Nekrosis had just left to make such a deal.

And then notice the Knights of the Wrong table charging with it at his army.
