Thank you so much!
Actually I really wanted to stick to 2D, but apparently I won't have a chanse to study it so I'll have to go with 3D. So I'm trying to explore it more! I really hope I'm going to like it enough to study & finish the studies with it! (:

Are you in college? And if so, for what?
I'm going in for animation and I'm debating on taking more 2-D or 3-D animation courses (though I'll take a course in both, deciding on whether I want to major in 3-D animation or 2-D animation is hard.) Thing is, I love 2-D but 3-D seems more practical job-wise and it's not like I have no interest in 3-D.

We have a different school system and I always forget what would be the closest one of yours to use as the one I'm in but in just too tired at the moment to look it up, sorry!! D; So I'm at an upper secondary school of visual art at the moment, look it up if you have interest! (:
But the upcoming year will be my last, and after that I'm most likely going to try to get in to a... (checks dictionary) ..college?! Okay, huh. >D This also says that it could mean "university of applied sciences", I have no idea which one I'm supposed to use, AHH!! ..anyway, I'm going for the 3D stuides thingy since all the 2D schools are too far and I'm too scared to move there. ; _ ;
Making 2D movies was always my dream, sob. I'm trying to motivate myself by thinking that I may get a chanse to make games that even I would enjoy playing. All the new games are just war and guns and HUMANS! I want to play as animals! ): <
Oopsie, long reply! :'D

Wow. It is interesting to see how schooling systems differ around the world. *Goes to research the Finnish school system* Oh, yea, that is fascinating. So, secondary schools are like the high schools there. You can go to the standard school or go to a specialized one, like a tech school. I just graduated my high school.. so I'd be going into tertiary education. College or university is the term associated with tertiary education. I think. I'm just piecing this all together right now ^^' .... Do you use grades? Like 11th and 12th grade? Or do you just say third year of secondary school?
It sucks when schools will only teach one side of something. Like only 2-D or only 3-D. Lot of colleges in my area will teach only 3-D or digital arts, but I'm going farther away just so I can learn both 2-D and 3-D. I haven't even decided on which form should be my focus (besides I'd be working on animation...) I'm from Connecticut and going into Georgia, which would be 989 miles away (1,591 km away) just so I can go to a school that is reputable for the art I want to go in. It's also mad expensive which kind of scares me. I'm not so nervous about the going away part though, even if it is so far. I think I almost feel safe, actually.
What I've always wanted to do was copyright my characters, create a company, and make stuff in the multi-media (novels, movies, shows, games, stuffed toys, etc.) using my creations. I agree with you on the games part. I just can't stand a lot of the modern popular games that come out. Not only do the graphics get me sick, but... I just hate the style of it all. Like you said, it's all just war and guns and kill as much as possible. It's not even the violence that turns me down but rather .... I don't even know.
Humans are pretty boring XD

Pretty much, that's the way it goes! Yes, we have grades from 1st to 9th, and the 7th - 9th grades are in a lower secondary. After that you can get a job if you want, the upper secondary is not compulsory. And then in the upper secondary you'll be on the 1st grade again, then the 2nd and lastly the abiturient "abi" year. I don't know what happens next, yet. : D
Ah, that is so far! Actually I was first going to go study in America, but I had to wake up to reality and that there's no way for me to get that money, when education is free over here. Then I searched for 2D schools in Finland, I found few, none of them were even close. They were all pretty much in the middle of nowhere, and I'm such an urban child that I got afraid that I'd never get used to living in the countryside. ):
That's pretty much my dream, too! Making movies that I would love, and then lots of merchandise! But I guess since there's more and more 3D nowdays it's a lot easier to find a job to start with than with 2D.
I get a headache after just a little while of playing the new games and if I continue I'll feel like I'm throwing up. That never happened with the old Crash Bandicoots and such! The violence doesn't bother me at all, it's just that all those games are the same to me. Play as a human and kill people. Okay. Don't you have any other ideas, game companies? And when modern games involve an animal protagonist it's always a game for 7-year-olds. Shame!

Here it goes from grades 1-12 (Though there is Kindergarten before 1st grade) 1-5 being Elementary, 6-8 being middle schools, and 9-12 are high schools. Once in awhile, there will be k-8 schools, so I guess grades 1-8 are the primary and 9-12 the secondary. After you graduate high school you either get a job, go to college, and go into the military. I suppose there's a few that just stay with their parents back at home, though. It is only mandatory to go to school until you are 16 and then you can drop out if you want. (Which would be stupid considering you're usually in 11th grade by then.)
There are usually four years in college (if you are going for a bachelor's degree, you can also just take college classes just to take them but they're expensive so people usually go for a specific degree.) Sometimes it takes longer to get a degree than four years, though. It all depends on the courses you've taken. If you've fallen behind or are taking a more rigorous degree, you'll be in college longer. So, college titles are not as strong as they are in high school. In high school, it goes like this: 9=Freshmen, 10=Sophomore, 11=Junior, and 12=Senior. They use those terms for college as well. So my first year in college, I'll be a college Freshmen. No more grades. I'm going to school for three years (because it's expensive >.<) and I've made up enough college credits during high school. I was attending a community college in my 11th and 12th grade.
I can't even believe that education is free over there. It's like the first time I heard health care was free in Canada. It's so... shocking! I almost envy other countries for that. T.T Luckily, k-12 grades are free. (As long as your young enough, that is.)
Personally, I'd be happier go to a countryside school than a city! I love the countryside. Plus, crowds and stuff makes me nervous. I grew up in the suburbs... kinda. In a town. Not a major city nor a small, rural town.
Ah! High five! We will make our dreams come true, some how! I used to love Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Ape Escape, Poke'mon (still do~), Mario, agh..... all those games like that. Not the serious hardcore Role-play games like Final Fantasy nor the boring, same old Blow Up The Town 6 or whatever. XD I've practically stopped playing games because of it. Once in awhile, though, I do find a game I'm into. I like Spore.. though it's a bit old now.

So much information about the school system ohh! ;O;
I did read it all but I don't know what to respond, uh... Interesting!
I don't know how much you discuss the foreign school systems over there, but I've heard that the Americans (and lots of other countries) do a lot of research on the Finnish school system since we apparently are that well educated, huh. >_> Like, we once watched a documentary in class that compared the American and Finnish schools, one example I remember is that over there teachers have graduated good schools like our have aswell, but over here the best of the best become teachers and there, uh, like, could I say the "worst" of the best become teachers. Like the educated ones but not the ones who received the best grades, unlike over here. Even I didn't know you have to be that good over here to become a teacher, haha!
And so the foreigners usually are constantly wondering why all our schools, pretty much equal in quality (if I remember correctly, schools there are more expensive if they are better, no?) do so well. And we don't get even nearly as much homework as kids in other countries.
I also remember in the documentary the researchers were all like "how do you allow this behaviour in schools?!" when they realized how relaxed the students can be. I'm constantly sitting and sleeping all around the hall floors, for example. : D And we seldom ask permission to speak during class, students just yell their questions even if the teacher was in the middle of answering to the question yelled a moment before.
I don't know why I felt the need to tell all that but eh. >D
I prefer the city, I've heard so many horror stories about other young Finns who have a different style, how in the small towns where everyone know everyone they aren't treated very well for being different. I really don't have interest in finding out how me, my mohawk and my leather jacket would be treated in that kind of places. ):
I also love the public transport, how I can just step outside, wait 10 minutes max and then hop on a bus. If I lived in the middle of nowhere I'd constantly have to check when the next bus goes, be at the bus stop 15 minutes in advance in case it's early, and if it's late sit there for half an hour. And the fact that I have a small hospital and a grocery store just a 10 and a 2 minute walk away!
And when I feel like it I can take a walk in the nearby tiny forest, even the capital where I live over here has forests. Finland is the land of forests and lakes, after all! (: I love this city!
I've never played any "real" Pokemon games, oh the shame! :'D All I have is the two first mystery dungeons (Blue Rescue Team & Explorers of Darkness), which I LURVE, and just yesterday I bough Pokemon Dash. That one was very short, though. But it was ok! (:
If there's no other choise we shall combine our powers and make a game just like the ones you mentioned! ;u; With adorable characters full of imagination and an easy-to-learn controlling! (I once tried out one of the Final Fantasy games, I only played it for an hour and a half and 2/3 of the time I had to read an NPC explaining me how the game works) Let's show the kids of the future that gaming isn't just for teenage boys, since they seem to enjoy the modern games the most. It used to be a kids' thing, and we'll make it child friendly again, right?!
...and I've never played Spore, either. :'D I've watched some videos, though. Have you played Viva Piñata? I really enjoyed that one too!
LONG REPLY IS LONG, sorry. Heha.

Funny, I never have seen a documentary on Finnish schools... or any other schools in other countries for that matter. I haven't learned much about the school systems outside the US. I suppose that's why I was partially in shock when I first heard colleges there were free. I mean, I selling my soul here just to go to school XD I envy your lack of homework though, I'll be honest with that. Some teachers here have that 'just yell the answer' policy as well. It really depends, though. Sometimes I'll shout and a teacher will get real mad if you didn't raise your hand, other times the teacher would rather the kids to just shout whatever answer they have. One thing I did know when it comes to foreign schools is that much of the world is doing better on their scores than kids in the US. Yay.
I like living in a smallish town, but not too small where the nearest grocery store is an hour away. I grew up in a town that had everything in it, from a hospital to way too many fast food/grocery store places, fire department, police department, a few parks, an amusement park, ESPN, too many public schools, rural neighborhoods, poor neighborhoods, that rich area, farms, city-like places and country-like places. I suppose I'm lucky (though plenty of youth complain about the town being boring) and because of that, I prefer just a smaller community in comparison to a bustling city with way too many people for comfort. But I can agree with you. If I felt like people were too judgmental in another area, I would quickly turn away. I love forests =w= I suppose also why I'm not too keen of a city is because when I picture city, I picture New York. New York has so many people, so much crime in so many areas, and the streets aren't very clean as well as a pollution problem because of the traffic congestion. It's not a nice picture in my head, though I've never lived there, I'd rather live in a house or a condo that a cramped little apartment surrounded by smokers and whatnot's.
XD I actually cried on Blue Rescue Team. I remember playing that game to death, I loved it! I have wasted too much money on poke'mon to be honest. I have all the movies and 30+ games. It's too ridiculous. I'm trying to stop myself from buying every poke'mon game in existence! But it is a fun game. =w= I like the mainstream games a lot, but Ranger, Mystery Dungeon, and all the other little side games are appealing every now and again. I have never played Dash though... strange. Yes! We will use the power of... hope... to create the most superb game in existence! It will be so superb, people will have to look away when they see the cover or else there eyes will go blind from the sheer awesomeness. So the only way they could really play it is to buy it online. ... XD
I remember trying Final Fantasy... when I was young. I sucked so bad at that game in part because I was, well, young and I sucked at pretty much every game then compared to now but also because it was difficult to get a handle on. Yes! We will make a child-friendly game (that, of course, adults will get sucked into as well) with so many creative and interactive features as well as lots of customizable stuff. Customizable stuff can be a real benefit sometimes and it's neat when incorporated well in gaming. There will be creatures of all sorts and .. cool stuff :3
Love Spore, heard of Viva Pinata, never played it. *shrug*
Sorry for the long wait in reply, I take little breaks from DA every now and again.

I've heard that they started giving even more homework in the US when they wanted their students to do better. When over here you pretty much get less and less and the more years you spend at a school the less they'll even bother to check if you've done any homework. It's weird.
I understand totally why you don't like the city, I couldn't live anywhere like the New York City. If you'd see Helsinki you'd probably think it's like one of those smaller towns over there, haha! So I guess if I was living over there I'd also say I like smaller towns. But I'm used to cities like this, so. Yeah. There is peace and quiet when you need it, we have forests near too. I wonder if I'd ever even get to sleep in a place like NY. Helsinki is also very safe compared to any big cities; you can go out in the middle of the night if you have even the tinies bit of common sense that tells you where not to go alone.
I also nearly cried on Blue Rescue Team, but the first and so far the only time I've shed a tear because of a game was the Explorers of Time. Even though it sorta had the same ending but somehow it just had the little missing piece more that did it. Ah, I envy you, I only have 4 movies and none of the "real" games like I already told you. : D
I actually just heard not too many days earlier that customizable stuff appeals to the female gamers, which is one of the reasons for ~40% of gamers in the US being already female.
No problem, take your time! (;

I don't really know. To be honest, it has felt like the older I get, the less homework I might get. Sure, there will be projects and those can be hard, but actually homework packets and assignments really goes down to nothing by the time you reach college. *shrug* Maybe it depends on where you go?
I looked up Helsinki and it most reminds me of Hartford, just cleaner and with less people. So it is a pretty city-ish place. I'm from Bristol, CT but you can't really tell how it looks from the pictures on the internet. Well... actually.. you kinda can XD Cities in different countries are definitely different. Here, cities are just so.... dirty in my opinion. Even Canada gets a better rep for cities XD I'm sure in Europe there is something important about living in cities. I think it has something to do with European history. People who moved in together just had better opportunity and stuff where it was kind of the opposite here. Another thing I envy about you, even in the nicest of neighborhoods, I wouldn't ever feel safe here in the middle of the night. I tried to run away one time when I was young at 10 at night and the amount of harassment I got was pretty unbelievable for being 12. I hid in the bushes until I woke up at two in the morning and returned home. Guess it was a lesson in a way.
I never ended up finishing the explorers of sky one! (Which shares a similar plot to explorers of time and darkness I think..) That reminds me... now I'm in the mood to play poke'mon. (I just might do that tonight..) Eh, it sounds great having all those games and movies but honestly, sometimes I regret how much money I wasted XD That could certainly of come in handy for college. But, eh, I try to not think about thoughts like that cause they only bug me.
I did not know customizable stuff was appealing to female gamers. I love customizable stuff (probably because I'm a creative person and if I had the choice I'd just customize the whole game..) I strangely like gender equality, though, so I'm glad it's at 40%. (IN my opinion it should be about at 50% but hey, 40% is good.)

Ah, you could very well be right! ouo
Actually I've been talking a lot about moving together with my bf, and I must say that's a pretty good guess. There are the not so good things when you try to move on your on in a city, though; apartments here cost like hell and it could be very difficult to find a job.
But then again, the public transport is the best, like I already said. If I moved int he middle of nowhere I'd either have to pay a fortune for buses that only go once a day per direction or buy a car. Grocery stores have cheaper stuff, at least what comes to what I've heard, and they're open pretty much 24/7.
Oh dear, that sounds pretty freaky! I'm glad you got back home in one piece! And the clock was only 10, oh my! I usually don't start paying attention to the people around me before midnight, and even after that there's seldom anything I really should worry about. I need to remember to be more careful at night when I get a chance to visit an American city!
The explorers of sky is pretty much the same game, yes, but only with some extra cutscenes, as I've understood. You should definitely play! (:
Ahhaha, actually, I know exactly what you mean! Because even though I don't have all the pokemon movies I have hundreds of others, both on VHS and DVD and more comes every now and then. It's my passion, to collect movies. ;u; Someone once volunteered to count the value of all my movies and games but I was all NO I DON'T WANNA KNOW.
I like customizing, too!

That's funny. You'd think by moving into the city apartments would go down and it would be easier to find a job.. or at least that's what I think. People tend to move into cities because they don't have the money to live farther away. Moving into the middle of nowhere sounds very lonely. That is something that might creep me out. The emptiness. I do appreciate 24/7 grocery stores, though I never need to go to the store at 12 at night but just in case. (I mean, it must be an emergency if I need it at 12 at night, right?)
Yea, awhile after that I had become nervous whenever ten o'clock pm rolled around the corner. It eventually settled down and today I tend to stay up too late XD I usually never leave my house, though. Not because it's dangerous exactly outside but mostly because I don't know what to do outside. I'm poor. I can't buy anything, and why would I want to go buy something out of boredom? I'd rather just try to draw and work on my personal projects on the computer or play games. But staying in so long can make me a little stir crazy at times. Bleh. And yea, I'd recommend being cautious wherever you go for the first time. You just never know.
Aw, cool. I like getting into a game when it has everything. That's part of the problem sometimes with poke'mon. I get into a game only to find out a similar game came out but with more features. Benefits of waiting I guess. But I have Darkness, Time, and Explorers of Sky so I have everything!! (But the time... >.>)

When I was a kid I used to think that I want to have a big house and a yard, you know, that dream house most people wish to have. But I came to realize that I'm so afraid of burglaries that I could never sleep in peace. Even if they're probably way less common here than over there. Now I just hope to get a pretty little apartment somewhere around here with swings on the yard I could use at night since they're pretty surely in kids' use at daytime.
I'm poor, too, so I understand. Whenever all my friends got those Tamagotchis and other new things when we were younger I always felt so left out for not having one or even being able to afford a movie ticket to go to the cinema with them.
But I have a friend now with whom I might go swinging, take her cat out for a walk or anything like that, and we both just happen to like all that stuff especially during the night time. (:
I only learned that after I had bought darkness, now I'm all argh argh I need to get that sky someday!! I absoulutely love the guild leader Wigglytuff and I know that sky has an extra episode introducing how he became an explorer and I just can't watch it online, I want to see it, like, uh, the real way!

I love the swings! But as I get older, the more and more prone to motion sickness I become. It started when I used to roll down the hill. It was fun, until I started getting sick. I also used to spin in circles when I was younger (I loved that after affect of feeling like the floor was moving!) but once I hit 3rd grade I got sick from doing that. Now I can't play first person shooter games medium or high graphics or even look at a screen of somebody playing a game like that without getting nauseous. Just recently, after being on the swing for about 15-20 minutes I was beginning to feel nauseous. >.< It really sucks. Back to the subject, I always wanted to own a mansion when I was young, but I seem to be comfortable with smaller and smaller as I get older. I mean, I don't want to clean up a big house. That's too much work (And I don't exactly feel comfortable with constantly hiring somebody to just hang around and do that work..) I would still like a smallish-medium or small house one day though. Maybe even a condo sounds fine, but my Dad warned me about condo's. Too expensive for what its worth. Burglaries used to scare me, but it doesn't happen as much as I used to imagine.
Take a cat out for a walk? You can do that? XD That sounds like a nice friend, though. I know the strains of not being the kid who kept up with what's cool. I never really felt bad about it though. For some reason, I never really wanted something so much unless if I already had it or had it within reach. Ads on TV's became things I just thought were neat and never really wished for any of it. Luckily for me, I grew up in a neighborhood where most kids were on the poor side and if anything, I was the more 'rich' kid for growing up in middle class. But there were times when kids would bring in something neat from time to time and I'd wish I really had it only to forget about it once school was over. It's weird looking back.
(Psh. I never got invited to go anywhere with anybody. Only now am I trying to get together once with an old friend before I go off to college. Honestly, growing up, I was more attached to my cousins than anybody. But today, I'm not fond of them. Sadly, I hate family reunion's and the awkward feeling it brings me. It's painful to go to and I hate having to say that but kids 'grow up' and feel the pressure of keeping at par with their friends. It seems random of me to just vent this towards you but, some of my cousins and little brother was all I had as friends growing up. I knew kids at school and did have friends by the time I reached 5th only to see them leave. Up through till I graduated high school, I've been mostly alone. Even my last friend whom I met in fourth grade started to forget about me by the time I reached 12th. That's why I really didn't like 12th grade. The loneliness really sunk in. Having to see those people was even worse. My cousins turned their back on me, friends all moved away or grew up. I just didn't feel comfortable with anybody. I'm just glad I'm going far away to college. It's a fresh start. It's like, even though I'm a bit scared and there are things I'm going to learn about living the hard way, my heart is finally going to be free from the burden that traps me here in Connecticut.)
Onto a kinder conversation, yes, I love Wigglytuff. He's an awesome leader XD I've played some of the extra episodes! They are fun to do.

Ah, I've encountered the same thing! In the swings I just usually lower the speed when that happens, and in the end I just sit there and, using my foot, move very little. Swinging at any speed just makes it easier for me to think about stuff. Also, when I feel like playing pretty much any game I need to begin with short periods per day, but I usually get used to it and in the end I can play as much as I want. I just don't play that much nowadays so I can't keep it up, I have to do that again every time I feel like playing.
Haha, yes! Cats just need to train a little before they dare to take a step without help. >D
It wasn't actually the coolness of stuff why I wanted the things all of my friends had. If one of my friends had a new cool toy I was okay with it, but when they all had the same toy they would gather in a circle and play with them. I would sit there with them, too, but as I didn't have it, I felt awfully poor and a boring person for not being able to play with them. I guess I was one of the few to be on the poor side, as all of my friends were on the middle class.
I was constantly invited to parties and cinema and stuff, but I always had to come up with an excuse for why I couldn't be there. I felt somehow ashamed, I couldn't tell them I wouldn't be able to afford a bag of chips to take to the party.
And we've never had a family reunion, most of my family members hate each other and I have to watch my mouth on who I shouldn't mention to who.
You seem to have gone through a lot, I'm okay with the random vent. <:
I guess all I can say is I really, really hope everything will be just great in college!
I don't know if you're there yet or not so I don't want to spoil, but the after game episode that features the grand master of all things bad is the greatest ever!

Whenever I want to start thinking, I pace around the kitchen table (or wherever there is pacing room) and just think. Sometimes, I'll pace in my room with my headphones on a listen to music (While imagining awesome music video's in my head.) It can take hours of my time sometimes by just walking around and thinking. >w<
I used to try to walk my pet rabbit. She never moved with me though. She only moved on her own accord. I guess that would feel rather uncomfortable. Hope you don't feel excluded now, though. All those little cool things wear out after a bit and are usually never thought of again anyway. XD
I was never invited to parties from the kids at school, so I didn't really face that problem. The only parties we had were in class parties and some people would show up with food. I usually didn't so there are plenty of times I can relate. (Though, I'll be honest, in the art party we threw before graduating high school, I did bring a fancy dessert, just because it was for an art class and it was like a finishing touch to my high school years.)
I know that feeling! My mom and dad hate each other and they have completely different ways of thinking and living. I have to constantly watch myself from saying the wrong thing to the wrong person.
Most of my family members (on my mom's side) like each other. I guess I'm the oddity there XD Never really knew my dad's side much, though. Besides his brother (my uncle) he pretty much hates his family and wanted to avoid contact with them.

I find it difficult to think of anything more deeply anywhere else but alone outside, while swinging or in bed. I could never think with music on, ah, I don't listen to very much music because most of the time I just find it irritating. >_< I like very little music and the little bit I like I can't listen to if I need peace, since it's usually punk. And that's noisy.
Aww, you have a rabbit? ouo That's probably the only pet rodent I feel even a little awws for. I never really understood hamsters or guinea pigs, haha! The cat of my friend was like that at first, too, but he's getting used to walking by our side. Slowly but steady. I once had a cat who could do it immediately, he was such a lovely and curious cat. <3 He wasn't even afraid to go slapping a hedgehog we noticed in the bushes. Must've hurt his paws, hah. Ah, miss him so much.
Oh, I've just recently felt that I'd really like to get a package of cookies or something for my driving teacher, he told everyone at the driving school that I'd bake a cake when I get my license and everyone there was like yeah, right, keep up the hopes! I still couldn't really afford to buy goodies like that but I'd really like to get him something, trying so hard to get sweets from his students, haha, aww.
You undrstand! ;u; And I understand! It's just not so common over here to have such hate relationships in the entire family, I think. No one I know really knows what it's like, it's sort of a relief to know I'm not alone with a family like this. : D

I'm quite the opposite from you there. I listen to music sometimes to think. I guess I can understand some of it, though, since I will just pace silently to daydream from time to time. I used to find music very annoying when I was younger. I hated particularly when characters would break out into song. I have changed very much from that.
I had a rabbit. Her name was Snowball. She died. (Rabbit's are actually not considered rodents, strangely.) I have a chinchilla right now though. She's adorable >w< I love rodents in general, especially gerbils. I'm also more of a dog person, but I did have a cat once. She wasn't very friendly. T.T
That'd be neat. I love cookies and cakes. I'm sure he would. When I was real poor I used to have to go to this soup kitchen to get some discarded foods from grocery stores. It was pretty neat since there'd be all sorts of brands.
Yea, I don't know very many who are so uncomfortable with their family, either. I guess it's not so common, or not so common for people to admit.
