This was genuinely a good painting tutorial - you gave us tips on how to produce a successful piece of artwork by telling us about the focal point, change in contrast etc. Thank you very much, Robin!

Robin, I noticed between steps 5 and 6 a lot of improvement at textures, in special at the rocks. How you made these nice textures? Custom brushes, overlay stock images, what's the method you use? Do you have a package of brushes for this type of work? how can I achieve similar results?
I have great difficulty making landscapes. I'm really at the beginning of something. I'm trying to help at environment design for the Kitchen's RPG project, but twice I gave up the paintings I was doing.
Can you help me with something?

I loved it. The technical talk you provided for the tutorial was really helpful. Do you find that you work more with hard tip brushes, air brushes, or miscellaneous patterns?

thank you for this! it is always interesting to see the progress on a piece, especially for such an atmospheric scene. One thing i have to ask, do you add the details and shadows on other layers and keep adding them, or work on fewer layers?
