I would have to say for my first time doing studio work and for Leslie's first time modeling it worked out great. It was quite the learning experience.---

This must be my personal favourite of this series, reminds me of the classic actresses like Ingrid Bergman and such. The time when men smoke cigars and women sang jazz in bars. Or something.
Anyways. What attracts me here is the strong contrast between black and white and her pose. The strong make-up makes her look a bit like a porcelain doll, though, but then, it fits to the concept I have in my head to this.
You're doing great with your photos, I think. It's lovely to follow your progress and also get some tips.

Thank you for your kind comments. I just started my studio lighting portion of my photography class last week so I got a chance to do some more studio work yesterday which will be posted most likely later today.

Yeah! that's way cooler. nice clothing! in this picture, the black and white adds an interesting effect by reducing the makeup to a metallic shine on her skin, which looks unnatural, but very cool

I relaly like the high contrast and the sharpness in your photos, her look is great too. Only thing i muss is a catchlight in the eys, but besides that its great.

I love the expression on her face it really portrays innoncence and sadness! The B&W and soft glow emanation off of her really work well to portray a mood! Awesome work! Keep it up!

This is really fantastic. Though, I personally think that it belongs in the classic portraits section of this gallery, I love this all the same. The black and white tones give it a beautiful feel and glow.
