You have obviously brought skills to miniatures painting from some other artistic discipline, because this is really lovely work. Β I particularly like the extreme highlighting on the canopies that evoke an alien sun.

For future reference, I recommend taking photos against a plain background. Β White is usually better than black. Β Also, try to take one, large, main photo and, if you are going to inset other angles, just add a maximum of two insets, at about 50% the size of the main photo or larger.

Better still, IMO, is just one, main photo, with links in the comments to more pictures of the same model for those who are interested.

However, this is still terrific. Β I've added it to the "Featured" section on the Games-Workshop group.

Thank you so much, Robey! I really appreciate the amount of effort and time you put into the comment to give me feedback.

First of all, I'd like to thank you for liking my work on the tank. It truly means a lot, and especially from a person who has much more experience in this area. All the support have made me even more dedicated to learn and practice on more figures.

Second, I also appreciate your suggestion on the photographing and to provide links to other angles. I'll definitely do that next time although, if I may ask, do you reckon I should update this image to just the one angle now?

And Thirdly, I am truly honoured to have my works featured in your art group! Thank you so very much

I spent a large portion of yesterday swearing at my airbrush, so I'm quite certain I could learn a lot from you!

I wouldn't worry about updating this pic, if I were you. But you might like to take a new pic of this model, just to get a feel for the difference in impact between the two.

Are you just painting models for fun and appreciation for the aesthetic, or are you a player, to?

I played the computer games and read their storybooks but I never played tabletop. My brother is the fan and introduced me warhammer 40k years back. He hasn't played tabletop in quite a while but my recent interest in painting it has sparked his hobby yet again once I paint his army, he'll play and I'll spectate to see his how it's done

Alright, I'll try photographing it in white

Ohh, I really am honoured. I always did give thought to share my processes in the future but I feel I haven't earned my badges yet since this is only my first. I'm currently painting the eldar dire avengers and it's a bit tricky cause they're a lot smaller than a tank XP

I love the prasm cannon the windows and the glowing effect o. o
I wish my eldar vehicles had that, but I donΒ΄t know how to do it.

Very well done I love it!
No really this is amazing

Thank you, Martin! It is an absolute delight to hear that from a veteran miniature painter I'm sure you can do it too I used an airbrush to do the light green around the neon green lines. And since Eldars are very futuristic, I thought the glowing effect suited this purpose

I never used a airbrush, though I plan to get one somewhen, since tanks are really cool to paint with it and some models armours too.
But I think right now I would suck at airbrushing, since no master falls from heaven. But I guess once I get a airbrush IΒ΄ll take my time training to use it

Using an airbrush is not that hard. I bought it for my miniature and this is my first go at it however the maintainence can be tideous. I watched a lot of YouTube video to get me prepared and it's treating me nice so far

thank you for the tips, wouldnΒ΄t have imagined that youtube really helps with that, IΒ΄ll take that to heart

Hehe. Glad I could help. And it's ok, you can say it again

this is your first miniature?! 0_0 This is amazing! My two favorite things about this are the glowing lines on the hull and the crystal. Although I remember the Fire Prism's crystal being on a longer shaft, did you make it shorter?Β

Hi Garrett I am so very flattered when reading your comment ^.^ When I saw this tank, I immediately had a clear image on how to paint which doesn't happen often. Fortunately for me, this one did and because I have experience in painting in other mediums, I suppose the transition is a lot smoother compared to a real first time painter

Ahhh~ yes. Well, this is the older version of the fire prism. The longer shaft as you were referring to. If I'm not mistaken, those are the newer models. Which one you prefer?

I did not do any modification to this one. Don't have experience in that area yet but hopefully soon.

Ah, that's why, and I kind of do prefer the new Fire Prisms (even though I don't play Eldar), but this version is still pretty cool, especially how you painted it up

Yea, the newer looks better, long and slender, more like eldars. Awwww... Thank you for saying such nice words about my works ^^
