ok, I've colored the background but still need to color the dragon...I'm thinking a red palette, any opinions?Related content

Just looking at it reminds me o my DnD days. The dragon looks like a wyvern and a serpent mix, but it is beautiful and elegant in flight.

A mixture of burgundy, some reds for highlights and gold for the fine details would look amazing.

I think you should use blue or green and some silver or gold. In red the dragon might get lost in the sky, but it's to beautiful to end like that^^

Ok, I'll consider it, I was honestly thinking of adding some of those colors to parts of it, such as the wings, but I wanted the primary color to be red, though perhaps a dark red for more contrast.

I think red would be a nice touch to pull the image together. Also though, I think you should consider green, it'll make the dragon show up all the more nicely against the warm background. Not sure if that is what you are going for though, just a thought ^^6

And yea, I'll probably stick with red, but green probably would look nice as well. Honestly I think this guy would look pretty good in any color, it really comes down to the contrast with the background for this composition, so red will work the best (plus its my favorite color anyway, lol)
