Please understand, I like it too. I'm sorry if I sounded disappointed that they were chibi, it just wasn't what I expected and I commented on it. I really like this, and look forward to seeing my other commission.

They’re cute. They look like chibi versions to me. You definitely did a good job.
These are my OCs created (initially at least) for the Ghosts N’ Goblins/Ghouls N’ Ghosts/Maximo video game series. Tadashi is a quiet and peace-loving (but not a pacifist) doctor. Kokoro is a noble, pure, virtuous and mighty female knight every bit as tough as her male counterparts in the franchise. For years she just aimlessly roamed around the world, vanquishing evil wherever she found it. One day while roaming through a forest a dragon attacked her. She won but was badly wounded. Tadashi was in that same forest looking for some medicinal herbs when he stumbled across her. He took her home and healed her. As he nursed her back to health, they became friends. They started seeing each other more often, and in a few months they became engaged. Not long after that they got married, but not even 24 hours passed after the wedding when disaster struck. Tadashi’s jealous ex-girlfriend Zahia, who he dumped for being mean, showed up. She reveals that she’s become an evil sorceress since then, and kidnaps Tadashi. Now Kokoro wanders the world once again, but this time with a clear goal; to find her husband and slay Zahia. She is still willing to take time out to stop any injustice she stumbles upon along the way, because that’s what Tadashi would want her to do.
One of the things I liked about Samurai Jack shortly after I tried it was how much he reminded me of this character I created when I was young. They both wander around the world fighting evil while trying to accomplish something, though Kokoro has it easy compared to Jack. Her goal is a lot simpler to achieve, plus she’s still on her home turf. One other thing they also have in common is that they’re willing to put their quest on hold to save lives. If Kokoro is faced between saving an innocent family caught in the crossfire or getting an artifact that will take her to the end of her quest she will save the innocents every time. Zahia knows this, and sometimes she will order her minions to attack neighboring villages in order to slow her down. It’s probably easier for her to choose than Jack as she knows that someday she’ll find what she’s looking for, whereas who knows when Jack will find another portal to the past. But no matter what she will never give up.
