However, bringing up her family causes Vivi to immediately change the subject, because for whatever reason she has decided to sever most, if not all, ties with her family.

PERSONALITY
At face value, Vivi is just about the sweetest person you've ever met (actually not really, because no one beats Charolette). She's positive, kind, enthusiastic, and has just about all the qualities a bubbly little girl would have. She laughs a lot, and is rarely seen not smiling. Even the harshest of insults is retaliated with a smile from Vivi (and probably an apology too). Hanging around her, one can easily see how difficult it is to hate Vivi.
Vivi is also a very enthusiastic learner. While she maybe isn't the brightest in any specific subject whatsoever (other than the arts), she seems to have a never-ending drive to improve, which always wins the hearts of most of her teachers.

On that note, you could say Vivi has two personalities. But in reality, the above one is simply an elaborate farce.

In reality, if there was one word to describe Vivi Harmonia, it wouldn't be 'sweet', it'd be 'cynical'. Vivi trusts no one, believes in no one, and if you think otherwise because you've talked to her on a personal level, you've just been utterly and completely deceived. Vivi only really does things if she sees any benefit to gain for herself; otherwise, it's very easy for her to whip up a believable excuse. In terms of what benefits, Vivi has no other goal than to be at the top of her game. The most skilled, most popular, and overall, most respected.
Along with this great yearning for dominance comes a lingering doubt of Vivi's own abilities. Having lived in her sister's shadow for the majority of her life, Vivi has developed a small inferiority complex that prevents her from having the headstrong determination that others may have.

While Vivi is fairly devious and will resort to certain questionable methods (oh your instrument broke right before the audition? who could have done such a thing?), she still is mindful of the rules...somewhat.

Of course, if you hadn't read this, you wouldn't have known about Vivi's dark side, since she is unbelievably good at acting. She even manipulates her voice to sound like an innocent little girl. She may whisper/mutter a nasty comment from time to time, but her personality switches back so fast you'll think it was just your imagination. There are two (three) ways to expose Vivi's 'true self'.

1. Your name happens to be Ruby Rasumus
2. You somehow catch her by accident (which is very unlikely, since Vivi is irrationally cautious, due to her cynical nature)
3. You anger her to the point of no return (also pretty hard to do. you pretty much have to be Lune if you wanna go that far)

Vivi doesn't take too kindly to three types of people. Those that are stuck-up and arrogant, those that are carefree and unaware of their surroundings, and those that are 'nosy' and inquisitive.

In Vivi's generation of the Harmonia family, she has a total of three siblings. One older sister, one younger brother, and one baby sister. Both her older sister and younger brother happen to be genius prodigies. Vivi's brother is a boy-genius who's brain capacity seemingly exceeds that of which his little head can hold. But that wasn't much of a problem, since Vivi doesn't care too much for academics (contrary to her fake personality). But the real problem was her older sister. Vivi's older sister represents everything she looks up to, yet also everything she hates about her family. The only way to describe her sister was...perfect. Constantly living in her sister's shadow, Vivi struggled to find something that she could use to prove her worth to her family.

When Vivi was around 12, her older sister got into a grievous accident, and was killed. Therefore, the Harmonia family expectations fell onto the next oldest child: her. It was in this overwhelming pressure to be the new 'perfect' did Vivi discover her talent: music, and to a lesser extent, the arts.

With such a bright future involving the grand stage waiting for her, why Vivi chose to go to the School of Hard Knocks remains a mystery. Kind of.

SKILLS
Without a doubt, if there is anything that Vivi Harmonia genuinely loves, it is music. Starting relatively late compared to other prodigy musicians her age, Vivi quickly rose to the top in her class. Vivi has mastered almost any kind of instrument, including some of the most foreign (she even has a Erhu). She mainly plays the 'fiddle' (don't try calling it a violin), and plays the instrument with such passion it can move the emotions of practically anyone listening. Sad songs will make you cry, tense songs will make you fidgety, and joyous songs will make you want to get up and celebrate. If there is any bit of integrity left within Vivi, it would be in her music. She also has excellent hearing ability, not in terms of hearing things from a great distance, but in terms of being able to discern whether or not a sound makes sense (the sword hit the wall with a 'thud', therefore it is made of wood).
She isn't too fond of dubstep though. Electronic noises are the only things she can't accurately identify with her hearing alone.

Vivi is also quite light on her feet, and has above average reflexes. But she also has a rather fragile frame, and hates when people comment on her height (or anything body-related, really)

BATTLE STYLE
While her intelligence stat does say 20, Vivi should be considered 'crafty' as opposed to 'smart'. Vivi is incredibly good at hiding, acting, and most importantly, stealth. That is her main tactic. She's very resourceful and can more often than not formulate a plan based on given situations. She learns quickly, is quite adept at collecting information, and remembers it long enough until it is of no more use to her. She also tends to forget about things she doesn't care about (so lots of things).

She can also use her music to her advantage as well, moving opponents emotionally. (and I don't know about you, but most instrument cases can hurt a lot if swung properly)

When fighting, Vivi mainly uses a hit-and-run sort of tactic, attacking opponents when distracted, and then immediately retreating into hiding again. Rinse and repeat. However, Vivi aims to end battles quickly, as it is very easy for her opponent to outlast her in any given situation.

WEAKNESSES
As previously stated, Vivi's frail figure as well as minimal stamina often betray her when fighting. The more time you take fighting her, the greater your chances will improve.

She is also relatively unfamiliar with electronic sounds. Beep beep boop. It even creeps her out sometimes.

Contrary to what her fake personality may indicate, Vivi is actually really unkempt. Well actually, she's neat and organized in her own way. Upon entering her dorm you will find stacks of sheet music and music books lined nicely on the shelves (as well as other schoolbooks), a somewhat neatly made bed, and a variety of instruments neatly resting on their stands or in their cases. Vivi's hair, however, is another story (it's basically impossible to control).

She like, owns a lot of instruments. She might carry around a clarinet one day, and then the next day she'll be playing on the harp. You never know.

Vivi's favorite 'food' is soup. She's a sucker for it, really.

Vivi calls herself 'Music Scrub' to further connote her humble and positive personality.

Vivi's earpieces (those circles on the sides of her head) don't come off too easily. It takes at least a twist or two to pull them off.
