That is true, don't forget that the original plan Wilson proposed was altered by the other nations, as is custom. By the time it was complete, the plan had been transformed to a state the U.S. couldn't accept. Several of the clauses went against the U.S. Constitution.

This was some of the reason but it was also cuz the americans were pissed at how unfair the treaty of versailles was to Germany, we even warned them the unfair treatment would just lead to more problems but did they listen, No. Sorry, its just I love history and I recently learned this so yeah. Any-who I love this so much and I just now remembered its condensed, the point is it was amazing.

I love the flash back, America is still so young compared to England and France. He have not have so many wars that his fathers. Obviously the WWI was a traumatic experience for him. Even for France and England it was hard so for America....
But America is really England's son. He had a splendid isolation phase too.
