Description Learning is fun!

Idea is from an actual book that I've found in my school library. It's in my happy place, in the WWII section. I didn't choose it as my happy place because of that, I chose it because there were no windows, and I could be alone. Then I looked around at what section I was in, and I had to laugh. The book (the real version) is called A Short History of England and it really made me laugh because it's really thick! You'd think it would be a thin book, but no, it's about 3" thick. Longer than Heroic Finland anyway (a book I found that same day), which goes on for several pages in the beginning all about Finland's bro-crush on America. Apparently we really welcomed them as immigrants and gave them a lot of opportunities and respect not given to most other immigrants. I should be proud that my country actually managed to welcome foreigners for once, but all I can think is, "This makes excellent conflict for my FinlandxCanada ship! "

But what am I doing?! This description was supposed to be about America and England!

And yet I know absolutely none of it. I know that at some point you were controlled by Denmark, then Sweden, and Hamlet said something about Fortainbras and sledding Polaks, but that's about it. Any other interesting bits? Because I have no idea how any of those pieces fit together.

Um,, there were Vikings and bloodshed and trading and going to Canada just top say hi, then there were the black plague end everything was dang shitty until for about hundred years ago when we finally became independent again, tough were were as poor as shit. Then stuff were OK for a while until WW2. Tough we were occupied we still somehow manage to screw with the nazies. Then found oil and that's about it.XD

God Norway had a shitty upbringing, but its good now. O.o
