Tigra, judge for the Queen Of The Beach Event Tigra was one of the original members of our group who promoted a special event involving all the ladies of The Island that, later in time, became the Queen Of The Beach. She was quite enthusiastic untill the words "water sports" cames up: judging was a more suited role for her and literally passed the ball
Location InfoThe Glow. The best and the most exclusive Night Club of The Island ... no, you don't have to worry: it's not a snob place you can enter too, exclusive simply means that is simply the best one but you won't need to be milionair to enter
Thanks for Forge, Tessa and some Celestia technology provided by you know who, The Glow can change the walls, floors and roof texture anytime at any moment. That's why there are theme nights most of the times

the fact that this looks like skin and not fur is a bonus! oh fyi though, Tigers love to swim-their paws are actually made for it. =^.^=

tigra is one of my fave characters that you render! and this one rocks way lotssssss! the only thing to me that looks a tiny bit off would be for her top to match her bottom piece of her outfit more. you know the 2 colors and the teal line seperating them... and i might have went with dark blue rather than grey in her outfit to match her original bikini outfit she wears in the avengers. but as for the outfit design...that's exceptionally rendered! ( tho i tend to see tigra as more exhebitionist and would wear a bikini bottom or shorts shorts!)

I love the look of the striped skin, my only observation is that it looks too much like skin and not enough like fur. No critisizing, just an observation. I still LOVE how this looks!
p.s. Tigers are one of the few big cats that like to swim and like water.

Indeed I agree with the skin. I gave it a small bump effect because in poser, at least for me ( I'm not that good as it looks really ) it's not easy to make something with a very short/thin fur. Most of the job is made of texture and bump mapping so, instead of going nuts and produce some abomination, I went for a version that was good enough for me ... and belive me this is quite a HUUUGE accomplishment for me, I'm not a texture artist

Oh hun, you didn't do anything wrong, you did right. I was happy that you did both characters, I couldn't believe my luck to have one of my fave artists do two of my fave characters at the same time. I am not usually that lucky
And I am not saying anything bad about your Tigra pic, I love it. I have had other Render artists say how hard the fur texture is. It was hard to find anyone who would do a render of my White Tigress character because of that. So, I love ExGemini's Tigra!

Challenges are good Teri ... I wanted to render Tigra for a long time but my fear of doing a disaster with texture always hold me back ...
Then I started to mess around and after 12 hours, you see the result
Probably with some tweaks on the bump mapping I might be able to give a more furrish look but I don't know. Like many other field of computer stuff is always a click and try and see what happens
