I asked my brother for some inspiration for another Gapuri piece and he suggested I do one of a desert. So here we have a Gapuri, pretty much COMPLETELY out of their element and walking through some dunes.I really enjoyed doing this image, the fabric was really fun to draw.

I don't know if someone already said this to you, but I always think of beluga whales when looking at your Gapuris' faces

I love belugas haha, and I did draw some inspiration from them! I love their melons, and since I had it in my mind already that the Gapuri evolved from an echolocating ancestor it made sense giving them a little almost vestigial one. Plus it's cute. xD

Yeah, insect like creatures. And they would be carrying all sorts of goods, dried fruits and meats and fungus, most likely Koluup glowslime, carapaces of various insects, cloth, building goods. A little bit of everything, probably jewelry as well.

Not widely, it really only exists in roving gangs that will force people into working.

They can be pretty mellow yeah, but you've only seen the good side of them so far haha.

Merchant groups will have fight over territory, but they try to keep the "civilians" out of it (you don't want to kill the customer).

Unfortunately with the merchant groups it can end in bloodshed. They don't like giving up territory easily, but they almost always attempt to negotiate. Almost.

They are hard to describe...There are some simple ones of course, spears and knives and such, but there are some other weirded looking ones.
