So sorry to respond this late man!
It's easy, you just need to take a seamless pattern/texture and drag it to the "watches" window. Then just apply it to a shape as a fill, and voilá!

The good thing of doing it the way I do it is that it adapts to the shape automatically and repeats the pattern if needed. Then you can change the transparency as usual
