I'm thinking this is one of your best speed paintings ever. I'd only request a bit more detail work on the stuff hanging from the ceiling in the foreground before I'd call it prefect.

Whoa, sick. Γ΄_o When I try to paint digitally, I always end up having a pic on which you see what brush I used and which colours. It just won't melt somehow. /:

well that's because you don't take enought time to detail things and blend brushes 
Also , I rarely use a brush and leave it like that. I mean if I use a custom brush , i use it in addition with other brushes to blend it.
I don't just stick it on top

just practice haha. Use the round brush with custom brushes , use a blurry and a hard brush etc etc... use different levels of flow / opacity...

custom brushes for texturing / shapes ideas , shapes => 100 opacity , normal layer , then change it with round brush as you would do it with a normal shape done yourself. Texturing => add on a new layer , try out different layer modes and / or opacity
