Description I have to keep reminding myself that America is not here to serve me, but I am here to serve America. There may be problems with it, but that doesn't mean I sit on my ass and write cheap comments ripping it apart, if you think there are things wrong with America, get up and do something; get involved and help change it so its more to your liking. Remember, there are millions of other people in America besides yourself.

Great depiction of Iwo Jima. Anybody seen the silent drill platoon perform in DC at the memorial? It is phenomenal, I highly recommend you guys check it out. I have the privilege/burden (depends how you look at it) of heading back to phase two of officer training this summer in Quantico. Images like this make it seem a bit more on the privilege side. Thank you.

Beautiful work and I agree totaly. You've got a fav from me. As for all those anti-gov't types out there, I'm not saying you're wrong, but if you don't like the way things are run, do your best to change it.

Its the people's duty to be sceptical of the government, if we just sat around and did nothing, the people in charge could pull anything on us.

I believe this is what I was getting at. I may have not made it entirely clear though. Everyone has a dream of what their country should be like. You should pursue that dream and strive to help mold your dream into a reality, INSTEAD of sitting back and complaining about it. Yes, showing disgust at your government is one of the key features of a Democratic government, one ruled by the people, yes; but being involved is also a key part of a Democratic government.

Are you for real? You live in a democratic country, and this is your definition of democracy? When you live in a democratic country it's not something bad to critizise the government. It's actually one of the basic principles. Government are elected by the people for the people. Not to do what THEY want, but to do what YOU, the people, wants. So if they are doing something wrong it is the people's obligation to say so. It's also wrong to sit on your butt and do nothing, but not to atleast try be a little involved or have some understanding of what is going on in the world is a biiiig no-no.

That's how it is and not any other way. If this is the kind of democrazy america is trying to share with the rest of the world then, no thanks....

-The true sign of dead democracy. At least the Soviets had some idea of what was going on.
