But other than that, nice pic.

Proper placement of the US Flag would better, but your heart is in the right place. I like it!!!

I would love to see this as a print. Beautiful work. And as far as the flag placement goes, perhaps it should not be thought of as backwards, but as though the graves are looking at it, as opposed to the viewer looking at it and the graves. Flag placement during military funerals is not set to the spectators, but to the fallen soldier. Why shouldn't it be that way in art as well?

I'm military, as is my fiancee and we are trying to do an "Army" room, so that our son can see our accomplishments and understand why we do what we do and have to leave him sometimes. I would love to have this piece on my memorial wall, as my fiancee and I have both lost people. I hope you decided to make prints of this gorgeous piece.

i just want to point this out, the flag should have the stars on the left, not the right, its the proper way to have it

I think it would have been more poignant without the flag.

Really, an image of Arlington Nation Cemetary (in the USA) would have had more meaning without the US Flag? really?

Just because it's taken in the US doesn't mean the flag has to be all over it. I think it would be a better message to remember not just Americans who die in wars, that's all.

The flag does exclude other nation's brave soldiers who have fallen in combat for noble causes... It's not that I don't care, or I think less of other nation's soldiers, but I am a bit of a Nationalist, and a veteran of the US military, so I am biased nonetheless.... Had you such an image with an Australian flag I would probably feel just as excluded... So this one is definately for a targeted audience...
