Description Mara was passing through and said she was up for a quick shoot. It was very rushed, but I had some ideas in mind and they mostly worked out a treat.

This is done with projected light painting - it's not an extensively modified image, it was shot this way.
In this case Mara is lit by a projected image from Neil Gaiman's 'The Sandman: Endless nights'

this is my favourite of the bunch
I cant imagine it being as successful with another model, the curves, skin and hair fit the image you chose to project so perfectly
its as though we get a glimpse at whats going on on the inside while she turns her back to us

Thanks for the interest and the appreciation for my work. The "secret" of those pictures is quite simple. Depending on the effects I want to achieve I use a maximum of 3 slide projectors plus other lamps. The most important trick is to avoid to have in the background the image projected on the model. You can do it projecting other images or lights on the background and/or to put the projectors on the side of the model, not in front of her. That's all. Try and let me know if it works ... also in New Zealand. mandi.

This really works. the way you've placed the work on her is perfect. I really like how the shape of the head work with the shape of her back and I especially like how the circles are landed perfectly on her bottom. I can't fault it.

Yeah, I recognise your name. Thanks for the feedback - I too have the sense that I am getting better, which is a nice feeling! Shooting this stuff is very hard technically and a whole new lateral world creatively.. so there's lots to get better at still
