The Princess's fingers aren't quite as nimble as before, so she has trouble writing in her diary herself, so instead she'll be dictating the Diary, and I (Toadsworth) will be writing it for her, while she dictates. Before I begin interpreting, I will say that the kingdom is happy to see the princess back with us, and so fulfilled by her journey, and to see it has changed her outlook on other cultures, as well as fostered better relationships with foreign kingdoms, seven if she's somewhat... Different, than before, in figure and habits.
To begin the diary Peach dictates:
Upon coming home my citizens were somewhat surprised by the woman I've become on her journey! (Eats) Unfortunately, it seems that this problem has not come up before, so there is no magic prepared to bring me back down to my former svelte size, at least not yet. (Eats) I've set up trade routes with the kingdoms I journeyed to, and soon we should have their chefs here to teach my citizens how to cook the dishes I encountered in my journeys. (Eats) For now, I've been ordering the greatest bakers in the kingdom to bake me the Mushroom Kingdom's specialty dish, cake! (Takes a break to finish off a cake, and order another)
My figure, again, has been affected by my indulgences, but I seem to have developed something of an appetite from all my journeying, and to keep satisfied I've needed a constant supply of confectionery. (Eats) I was worried that when I came home I'd find cake to be a tired dish, since I've been indulging in worldly goodies this past while, and cakes have been in my life forever. (Eats) This was not the case! (Eats) My time away from home has given me renewed love of pastries, and the past few months since I got home, and while the cultural exchange is in progress, awaiting new dishes, has been full of nonstop indulging in the many cakes of the Mushroom Kingdom! (Belches, and finishes off her left cake, ordering another, while switching to the right)
A downside of this diet is that I'm not certain I'm still able to walk under my own power. Last time I did it was quite a struggle, and it's been a while since I've gotten up, the last time I tried I was too full to move much, and it hasn't seemed critical since then. (Eats) Managing political affairs from my bedroom hasn't been the simplest task, but I've managed, for the most part. (Eats) These are just new challenges to adapt to, I suppose, but all in all the affects of my trip have been manageable, and well worth the newfound appreciate for fine cuisine! (Takes a break to rub her belly, and order a beverage to wash it down)
Anyways, I'd best be off. I'm to meet with an ambassador from the Metro Kingdom now, and I need to have myself cleaned up. (Eats) It would be in bad taste to eat through the meeting, so I hope these cakes were enough to keep me filled up! (Eats) Once I'm either slimmed down, or figure out a means of travel, I might plan another trip to see another far off place and indulge in its culinary bounty.
