Peach's Foodee Diary: Thirteenth Installment
The Ruined Kingdom was boring! No citizens other than a giant dragon! Luckily, dragon eggs were tasty, but one meal was not enough. But Bowser's Kingdom? It's amazing! Being here as a guest instead of a political hostage for a change really alters my perspective of it, and his citizens are actually quite courteous when asked to be. And hearing that this journey was to indulge my taste buds, Bowser gave me stay in his palace and access to the finest chefs in the nation. You should've seen his face when he saw what I look like now! Quite the shock! I think he was expecting a little less Princess than he bargained for! Though the food supplies he provided suggest he knew EXACTLY what to expect.

The food was amazing, and Bowser's Kingdom seems to have a local dish they're famous for called 'Sushi.' These intricate little rolls are so delectable, it makes my mouth water to think about them, even now that I'm stuffed on them already! There were plenty of side dishes as well, but the Sushi is the primary focus. One thing disappointing about this visit is the clothing. I LOVE the look and feel of Kimono's but the cute Fire Flower pattern only comes in sizes XL and smaller! I can't even fit my arms through the sleeves of that size any more! As I leave, to go back home to my beloved kingdom (hopefully to meet a weight loss spell or potion), I've grown to the point where even the largest of the Kimono's here strains to contain my glorious royal body! This is truly a sign of how successful this mission of culture has been, I'm eight times the woman I was when I left, at least as far as mass is concerned.

But getting back to the food, it's truly amazing. The cooks in Bowser's kingdom know how to prepare the greatest dishes I've yet to experience. I will say there was a culture clash I wasn't expecting. Upon mentioning I've tried Goomba and Koopa people got uncomfortable, apparently that's considered 'cruel' in this land (?). Either way, this was the greatest stop yet in my Foodee journey! I'm very happy to have tried it! The food reviews are as follows:

This trip has been amazing! Now that I'm at the end I couldn't be more happy with the end of the trip! Excited to get back home, but this was a journey worth the time away from home. Learning about the world will help me be a better leader when it's my time to be queen, and the food was worth the trip even without that!
