Vanessa: Cause the boys aren't back here yet. And it was you that assigned them that mission.
Dumont: Correction, I gave it to Trevor, then he invited your apprentice, Sylar over for co-op.
Vanessa: Then they both got more extra help for the mission, resulting in the sudden disappearance of several more Keybearers. Oh swell indeed. -rolls eyes-
Aiden: They were fine not too long ago. How can this mission you guys mentioned be that hard? Sy and Trev were simply looking for somebody lost in the woods, right? -serves tea to the two-
Dumont: Either they were slacking off...like always, or something nasty happened. They haven't reported back yet.
Vanessa: My apprentice may be playful, but at least he's doing a great job so far. Give Trevor a lil'bit of break, you know.
Dumont: So you're saying I'm slave driving my son?

although, I do feel sorry for Cheval the Slenderman. He might scare dummont, but Vanessa... Oh, boy, when she's scared she's just going to blow the whole forest up with a Shadow Mega Flare! xD

I was sorta worried they'll get in each other throats like crazy if it was according to your fiction, so I kinda toned the rivalry down a bit.
Now the only thing, how the trio will confront Slenderval.
Dumont: The higher ups didn't tell me about this?!

Well, yes, but they are actually quiet friendly between each other when Master Alastor wasnt around. He was the instigator of the Keyblade War. Yeah, he's an ass, lol
That seems about right, heh, but -in my fiction which is actually in the past- Dummont and Vanessa are the higher ups, with no other authorities above them. Well... Actually, NVM, there is a council of people that overlooked the worlds and controlled the Keyblade Masters, buuuuuut I probably shouldnt go into details here or else it'll get too big.

Yeah, I thought so myself. I think I developed a story much more deep than what is custom in KH, for good or ill.
Definetely Dummont, of course. Vanessa is more prone to attack first, ask later. She'll probably scream while smacking Cheval to a bloody pulp xD
Of course there's a green light. I can't say no to you, especially since you're giving love to some OCs I have left behind to focus in an original universe.
