Yes, Seryu and Aria get along pretty well and became friends after Seryu prevented Aria from being kidnapped by thugs who wanted to hold her for ransom.Β

It's an alternate universe where the fight in the park never happened, what more do you want? This version of Seryu would never do to Sheele and Mine what her canon self did. I created this alternate universe so that select bad guy characters could be good people and so the main characters could have the happy endings that they deserve.Β

LOL! Oh Mine, being a tsundere as always. I easily imagine her getting jealous of Seryu's friendship with Sheele who mine regards as HER best friend. I figured that under different circumstances, Seryu and Sheele would've been good friends given how openly friendly and caring both girls are. They'd even understand one another's darker sides as Sheele even in this alternate universe has a darker side when dealing with rude people and other jerks. Imagine her cold side from canon without the killing part to it.
Anyhow, Mine like in canon is protective of Sheele and cares deeply about her. She's one of the few people that Mine reveals her tender side to which makes Sheele smile. Sheele's aware of Mine's crush on Tatsumi and is trying to get Mine hooked up with him. Since people can have more then one husband or wife in the Empire, Mine can hook up with Tatsumi if Tatsumi decides to hook up with her.Β
/chuckles/ To be honest, Mine and Seryu have a bit of a rivalry as Mine regards Seryu as being somewhat annoying with her open devotion to justice and being optimistic while Seryu regards Mine as being a bit annoying with her cynical outlook and her tsundere shell which she teases her about a bit. They'll team up though to help Sheele out when needed though.

I liked her dark character, as well, just a shame she died.

Also her death is single handedly the most brutal and heartbreaking death of the whole series, the fact that she is brutally murdered without a chance to fight back and then her head is posted in the public square on a pike is, well that image is what introduced me to the existance of the series in the first place, seriously the writters of this show could be give George R.R Martain advice on how to brutally kill off your characters, and not just side characters the main cast, I mean by the end of the manga only Tatsumi, Mine, Leone, Najenda, and Akame are the only ones left aliveΒ

Yep Akame Ga Kill is as Dark as 40K, though given the choice between the two I'd take my chances in the 41st millennium where I'd be more likely to live out my days in piece or die rather quickly, I'll take a quick death from an Orc's choppa or a Lazgun over days of torture from Aria and family or being cannibalized by Honest
