So having him go on and on about the things he saw and wants to show her, being they were separated or not, she will just gaze at him with the dorkiest look her face because man does she love this guy to bits and pieces. Well she doesn't have anything to fear, he will go on and on forever. Darryl can jump from subject to subject in a single second, his mind is so active and he always has so much to say. If she doesn't stop him then she can bet he'll continue to talk and talk and talk for as long as he can. He gets distracted easily too pfft, she says something and he drops everything he was saying just to bring up a new thing and branch off from there- he needs an award for talking. But omg if he found out she was interested in that he'd get so excited and he'd start bounding, "OH! You like that??? How lovely, ah, I must bring you to my garden!! I can show you so many things and I you can have some plants and take pictures and do whatever you like, it will be so fun!!"
more angst 4 u darryl has heart problems so in old age he probably isn't doing so hot either, but he's still VERY caring to her even if he's not feeling good. whenever she's bedridden he will be by her side 24/7, never leaves her side-- unless he's going to get her food or something like that hhh. he's probably happy that the kiddos are there with them too though, he adores seeing he happy heufhszuhf///

(( He could talk for hours, they could literally go and grab lunch and start a conversation about something and he could talk for hours, and she'd just sit there and listen to him. Nod, confirm and vocalize her agreement but then allow him to continue. It's interesting for her to see how people's minds work, how they can go from topic to topic, and it's adorable to see him so excited about everything they talk about. How his eyes light up and his grin, and how his gap shows when something in particular sparks a fire in him. ;v;
Oh my gosh, the moment he offers to show her his garden, she'd be all over it. Eyes all big and wide, she'd bring her camera the next time she'd come by because man, all she would be able to think about would be what sort of plants he'd have. Make a day of it, bring lunch so they can munch while they talk and admire his plants. She'd probably end up bringing her little potted plants to show him what she had and compare and trade notes on the certain species of plants they were growing Ask about plucking a couple to study and press in her books to make notes on. Next thing he'd know, he'd wake up in the morning and find her studying the plants. "Oh, good morning! I hope you don't mind, one of your servants allowed me in so I could study your fauna!"
OH NOOOO;;; They spend days just talking about all the things they did in their lives, and how much they love their kids and lil' grandbabies, or what she'd do when she could finally get out of bed. She knows she probably wouldn't be able to again, but she'd like the way his eyes would light up and they'd talk about all the things they'd do if/when she could, just like when they were young and he'd get excited about one thing or another.

AH that sounds like it would be so fun for them hhh. Darryl likes seeing her potted plants, he thinks they're cute and loves them. When he walks in to see her he's be shocked but then he just grins and titters to himself, "Oh, I don't mind, dear!! You're welcome anytime~ Ah, and I'm so glad my babies intrigue you. You know, I have some seeds if you'd like to grow some of your own!"
