Description
Following on from Blue 21 [link]This is as far as i can take it i think
Every drop was placed by hand using an eyedropper bottle and it didn't take as long as you would think

It was lit using a slightly blue tinted LED torch, and the white balance of the camera set to flourescent

as a matter of fact . . i was a sec late when i realised it

Still couldn't say which one is better -- this or the "blue 21" ([link] )
On the "blue 21" the shadow adds an accent which enlivens otherwise quite statical scene... Yet on this picture the drops have far more interesting reflection, or "pattern". And this has also more depth, induced by unfocused drops on back....
Both them are superb, though.
Still deciding which one to add to my favs

After shooting blue 21 i realised that drops going all the way round would help achieve a much better dof. I fired off quite a few shots and this one just happened to be my fav.
Personally i prefer this version but that doesn't make the DD on blue 21 any less special.
I'm just happy that people enjoy what i do, as i certainly enjoy doing it

I actually like this one better than the one you got a DD for... It's a fantastic photo. The only way I think you could have improved it is if it wasn't directly in the center. It's perfect in every other respect, focus, DOF, everything. Great shot. Definite fav!
