HARVEST TIME!
The fields are ripe and ready to be harvested, but the bounty is so plentiful that the local farmers needs help! Every available stryx must pitch in to help bring in the crop! You'll be rewarded handsomely for your efforts once the crop makes it to market!
Draw your stryx helping out with the harvest, perhaps by picking fruit, cutting or threshing grain, or drawing wagons full of produce to market.
(Stryx, Full Body, Colored or Shaded, BG, produce of some kind) - For Lit. 1000 word minimum)

Stryx must be uploaded in order to participate in this month's challenge. If you do not own a uploaded stryx import, you may use one of the Official Group Starters to complete the challenge prompt.

The Fall HarvestIt was always a good sign when you show up for work early for once, only to find that your Stryx is already screaming bloody murder at some unsuspecting farmer who was just trying to help.
The sun was just rising in the distance, casting a golden glow over the autumn fields as villagers from the nearby citadel worked together to harvest the crops. As the setting sun crept higher and higher above the eastern horizon, it cast a pinkish hue over the auburn leaves that were scattered all around, some clinging desperately to their chosen branch while others drifted in the wind or lay fallen on the ground below. Already dozens had turned up to help with the fall harvest, whether it be picking fruit or harvesting grain or preparing Stryx to pull the food-laden carts to market.
It was usually too early for Lazarus; being a reptile, his body hadn't quite had the time to warm up yet in what limited sun was available. Still, they needed strong Runners to pull the carts to market

MonthlyClip, clop, clip, clop. A small black and white goat wandered around, sniffing, until black talons with long,silvery claws reached for it. The little goat tried to run,but Silicia caught it, and Sahari smiled, still riding on Silicia's back since they didn't have a strong enough bond to wear a saddle. "Good girl!" She cooed, stroking her head, and Silicia smiled at the praise.They flew back to where they lived, and Sahari cooked the goat meat but left some raw for Silicia. " You're a great hunter.", Sahari praised as she gave her the meat. The harpia happily gobbled up the food before beginning to groom her feathers, in case some blood splattered onto it somehow. There wasn't any,however some of her feathers needed some grooming, so she fixed them up so she could fly better. Eventually, she settled in her nest made out of leaves, and while the sun began to rise,the harpia went to sleep.

Harvest TimeClyde sweated and strained under the weight of a pumpkin that felt nearly as big as he was and wondered just how he got himself into this mess; he hadn’t been drunk when they asked, and he was pretty sure no one had mentioned just how strenuous the work was going to be. They’d said it was just a small patch, of that he was certain. Looking out at the rows and rows of twirling pumpkin vines that seemed to stretch on forever, he wasn’t sure he wanted to know what consisted of “large” to these folks. He was still new to the little town, maybe this was their way of breaking him in and seeing if he was really one of them.
Setting the accursed pumpkin down, he stretched backward, popping his spine a little, then wiped the sweat off his brow with a sigh. The pumpkins he’d carried in from the field were in a nice, neat pile. All four of them. He slumped a little; this was going to take forever.
