Concept art for a planned film concept I worked on during my time at university.The concept was for a horror film involving humans actually being low on the food chain. The obesity epidemic, the popularity of sugary/fattening foods, and the general culture surrounding food was actually a product of aliens who secretly feed off humans for food. A protagonist would discover the conspiracy, and attempts to try and warn humanity, all while being hunted. Think a mix between Soylent Green and "They live", with the suggestion that the story be told with a sense of parody, similar to "They Live" and films like "Cabin in the Woods".
The "CyberButcher" was one concept that came about from the discussions, A mix between machine and flesh, it was a monster that actively hunted, killed, and cut humans into meat. I took some idea from the popular Pyramid-Head of Silent Hill fame, and emphasized the sci-fi feel.
The person I did the concept liked it, along with other previous concept, and it became part of a long discussion for this idea.
