Description
7/22/14: Massive "Naval Constellation" at the (now defunct) Chanute AFB Museum at Rantoul, Illinois. I just got there in time! It closed the next year. I'll look it up. I was at Willow Run back in '97 with my dad. Photographed some DC-6s and DC-3s they had there, most of which were still functional at the time. They even did an engine test on one of the DC-6s while we were there. My dad calls it the "Pterodactyl Farm" because at the time the most modern aircraft they had flying out of there was a DC-8!
