It's because scanlating takes a lot of time and effort xD
and when the people currently scanning Sket Dance started, there was already a lot more chapters out in Japan, so they're doing their best to catch up
they've actually been doing a pretty good job recently~ Like, they're releasing a little more than once a week now, and they're only about 35 chapters behind.
They'll probably catch up before the end of this year ^-^
