OMG Z is taller then Dick(hats don't count)?! LOL XDMy new avatar, made completly with the computer, no pencil drawings before, just paint for the characters and photoshop for the special effects.
as for the idea, well, this pair wasn't seen in one photo for quite a while so why not?
As for the lights, they represent the differant powers the stand alongside those characters in their fight(except for the blue one at Dick's side, that's an improved look of the reality changing pulse).
The kin eyed of you might also notice that Z is now not the only one of the pair to have a powerfull "Ex-fictional" ally at his side.

you draw the effect pretty good!
but i think when you draw something for it to be small in the end you don't need to put to much colors or characters cause its confuse the eye and in the end you need to figure out what is in the icon or whatever.thats one of the reasons why a simple pixel art icons are so popular
