I tried sai back when i first started doing digital stuff and used it off and on just messing around in it,but sketchbook pro and manga studio at the time stole my heart so to speak.if they would of updated the interface.
i might of used sai more but it just felt too complex to me at the time and dated compared to the others.

I feel the same about Sketchbook pro and CSP.. started out with sketchbook pro, but went to SAI in the end because I felt the interface of Sketchbook pro was kinda hard for me to grasp.. I would say if felt the most as if drawing on a piece of paper, but it never quite worked out when doing linework at the time.. Sai and CSP are all I use now.. might get into PS one of these days.. just takes a while to find good brushes on there.

yeah i cant seem to get the hang of doing lineart efficiently in it,I can do it,but i like the shortcuts and brushes i have in csp way more so i just sketch in it.I mean it IS called sketchbook for a reason.I use photoshop for effects and stuff, but sketching in there is the worst to me,and yeah i don't like how the brushes feel compared to other programs.

That's awesome. I enjoy seeing art studies. Gives me ideas what I could be doing with my own.Β Β

Nice work! Β I like how even though it's all super dark we can see the brush strokes that really give form to her hair!
