I am out of the closet now! LUNA IS MY FAV!!!! Sorry to the rest, but I'm on Luna's bandwagon and have resolved to perfect my HIE story to do the concept justice!
This is actually a failed design concept for a massive upcoming project, there are many things i am unhappy about here but its my first time trying so….learn from it. I am trying out styles and this one was pretty much done so I thought to add a little background because it looked nice…ish…

Luna is the bronies' favorite. Each poll, she wins. Last who got very close was against Derpy.
Failed design, but beautiful nevertheless. I only agree the border of her mane should be transparent and be sure hey eyes are turquoise. That a mistake I seen often.

Favorite pony is a closet thing? So...it is like a closet within a closet (and possibly within another closet). The picture does have its flaws, but I certainly wouldn't call it a failure!

its a design for my big project coming end of feb. i did not like the finish though so will have to try again…*sigh
I normally font take faves because all the characters have their great features. Luna just has that high ignorance with regality thats adorable. as a character that is barely explored however, she does spark my imagination for sure.

Very lovely and crisp. I would say that for critiquing sake that Luna herself could use some depth. The starbursts surrounding her are very intense and thus make her a little dull in comparison. I would add highlights to her shoes, shadows to the necklace-bust-thing, and a mid tone to the crown for a little more radiance and appearance of metal. Also, you could make the outer purple layer to her mane a transparent gradient to help enhance the wavy shape.
Overall, lovely vector work with beautiful and creative shapes.

Thank you of such a detailed critique! I did not understand why she was being washed out but you clarified it nicely! I have trouble with textures in general, but the tip with the metal is very interesting. I will be sure to try these in the next design for sure!

Welcome to the dark side (off the moon?) man! Everyone knows Luna is best pony. The artworks great as well. Paints her in a more realistic light. Makes her look a little manly though.
