Description 1 : Palupelta pygmaeus is the smallest of the thyreophorans. It is a nodosaur that lives in underground passageways on the banks of rivers and swamps of Takaki and Aigial. They get to around 1-2 meters long and 50-70 kg. They eat water plants such as lilypads and horsetails.

: Pholidotapelta arborealis is a peculiar species of nodosaur that is semi-arboreal meaning that it spends half of its life foraging on the ground and the other half, climbing and hiding in the canopies of Takaki and Volcanus. They are highly sought after for their scales which are much like a pangolins ( which the species is named after ). They eat just about anything that fits in their mouth. They get to 3 meters lobg and 200 kg.

: Eonipelta armadorsum is the largest nodosaur on the planet getting to sizes of 6 meters long and nearly 2 tons. They have a pair of tusks used for digging and cracking roots and bones. A coat of armour covering their body makes them a formidable prey item to any who dares to attack it. They live on the large islands of Eon.

: Calorocursor Takumiensis is one of two species of stegosaur on the planet. This one being the smaller of the two. It gets to 3 meters long and 70-90 kg. They can run at speeds of up to 120 km/h. They eat ferns and cycads in their scrubland environment. They have plates on their tail ( which I based off of the first reconstruction of stegosaurus ) are used for thermoregulatory purposes.

: Bellatortherium giganteus is the only true ankylosaur of the planet. They evolved off of creatures such as euplocephalus and ankylosaurs. They are the largest of the thyreophorans growing to sizes of 8 meters long and 6 tons. They live on Volcanus and Zealii. They are a jungle dwelling species but are often found in swamps foraging for plants, bark and small crustaceans and other protein sources. They are formidable in battle with a specialised club at the end if their tail for smashing down trees and breaking legs of any attacker who attempts to attack this beast.

: Volcanucursor Calorus is the second and larger species of stegosaur on Atlas. It gets to 5 meters long and 200-300 kg. They are the favoured prey of the abelisaurs of Zealii and Eon. They use the plates on their tail for thermoregulation. They use lava from the volcanic areas they live in to heat up. They can run at speeds of up to 60 km/h.
