F-111E 68-0067, 428 FS, 27 FW, Cannon AFB at Luke AFB.

After the 20 TFW transitioned out of the F-111 and moved WOPE (Without Personnel or Equipment) from RAF Upper Heyford to Shaw AFB, the few F-111E's that had been upgraded from the original fire control system to a digital system in the "Avionics Modernization Program" were moved to Cannon AFB to be used as the F-111 training squadron with the 428 FS "Buccaneer's".

The 428th had a long history with the Vark as one of the first fighter squadron's to operate the brand new F-111A's with the 474 TFW at Nellis AFB in the 1960's.
