F-4C-25-MC, 64-0928 assigned to the 111 FIS, 147 FIG, Texas ANG, based at Ellington ANGB and seen at Luke AFB in November 1985.What a lovely study of the Phantom!

SO that yellow star is not a kill marking !! I figured it wasn't, but I have always wondered, as I shot two of these in low vis grey (or maybe Ds) at Harlengen in the 89 airshow, they are the F-4s I shot facing into the morning sun. Ill post some better views. They had one posted on the intake, kinda like a kill, but I have always wondered.

Usually MiG Kills are recoded on the Vari-ramps like this acft f16crewchief.deviantart.com/arβ¦Β . The Ellington Guard patch resembles a kill though.
