Alright, here's a little info on Ruby's skills and abilities for the tournament. They are not really many but it might be useful 8'D

General OverviewRuby's a dragon that really enjoys fighting, even when the odds aren't in her favor. She will jump face first into a fight, without worrying at the time wether or not her opponent is stronger than she is. More often than she would like to admit this has been the case and she had ended up on bad situations.
Usually it starts out being all fun and games, because often that's all fights are for her, a game, a challenge, so she might not take it entirely serious at first, testing out her opponents strength and speed before she starts showing her real potential.
Being hot headed as she is, she's easy to piss off, if things don't go her way she starts getting mad and frustrated. Smoke coming out of her nose is a good sign to tell that she's getting mad and will start being serious. When she's getting her ass kicked she will resort to her dragon form, at first some of her features will change, taking her to a mid shift form. In this state she's physically stronger, and has the use of her claws, fangs and horns, with everything else. Also, if she's like this, she's already taking it quite seriously.
Her last resort is, of course, her full dragon form. At this point she is either super mad at you, or she just wants to win to badly and she won't take any chances. Full strength on this form, and also the flight ability. She will mostly abuse her flying and start attacking from the sky.

The only difference between fighting strangers and friends it's her attitude about it, she would play more against her friends, maaaybe hold back a little, but would still fight to win, as to against strangers she would play to tease them and to find out how strong they are and then just go beat them up and win, or well, try to win.

HP: Medium
She doesn't bleed out quickly, and it's hard to make her bleed in the first place due to her really thick skin. If you do manage to cut her though she would bleed at a normal speed, taking some time to get dizzy.

Strength: Above average
Even on her humanoid form, Ruby keeps her dragon's strenght, slightly limited by the body she has, but still there. Naturally, when she shifts into a dragon her strenght feels higher, because she has better use of her muscles.

Defense: High
Even on her humanoid form her skin is still made out of really strong scales, they are just tiny and barely visible while she's like that. Cutting through it isn't impossible, but it's pretty hard.

Magic Strength: Medium - Low
She depends on her fire breathing abilities a lot, and they are decent strong, but she has never had Elementalism training, so it's mostly just species skills. She knows basics on firemancy, but she rarely uses it, it's all shooting fireballs at you without thinking much.

Magic Defense: Low
Being a fire dragon she is naturally fireproof, other than that, she would be relatively vulnerable against other types of magic.

Speed: High
Ruby is very atlethic, she constantly works out and likes being in shape. Having spent years fighting here and there she has trained reflexes and very strong legs. Speed isn't and issue for her, at leasnt, against normal oponents.

Stamina: High
Like stated before, she spends a lot of her time working out and being active, it's like her body was made for physical activity. It'll take her a long while to get tired.

Intelligence: Low-Average
Ruby's not really the brightest dragon around, she's hot headed and doesn't think much before she acts, which usually causes her trouble, jumping head first into a disadvantaged situation for her. She's easy to piss off, so she can be taunted into attacking and then end up falling on a trap.

Aggressiveness: Medium-High
She's one confident little dragon, sometimes too overconfident. Patience is far from being one of her virtues, so she will most likely be constantly attacking her opponent. Best defence is a good offense, or so she thinks.

AbilitiesPhysical strenght: title speaks for itself, she's really strong, and she knows it, and abuses it. She's very skilled on hand to hand combat and will mostly rely on this and on her fire to fight.

Fire breathing: as most dragons she can breathe fire, an like the hand to hand combat expect her to use fireballs very often during the fight.

Thoug skin: While on her human form her skin is still made of very thick scales, though tiny (they're barely visible) they are very resistant and hard to cut through. It's her best defence against physical attacks.

Mid-shift dragon: While on this state she's usually mad, her body temperature is much higher than usual and there's usually smoke around it, sometimes even fire. When she shifts to her dragon form she covers herself on fire, and then her shape changes. So, on this it's like half way there, the fire is still sort of around her.
She will add claws, headbutts, biting, and tail whips to her hand to hand combat while on this form.

Full Dragon: While on this you can tell she's either desperate or very upset, either case she will use her last resort to try to crush her opponent. Bites, claws, fire, everything. She will mostly attack from the air, either diving at her opponent or shooting fire from the sky.

She doesn't really know much of what other department students do, since she's still a beginner, and she's not very concerned about it either. Her attitude about it it's like she will find out on the arena and hope for the best. Although her attitude against Necromancers is mocky and she doesn't respect them much, but that's because she doesn't really respect her brother Rax, and extends the feeling to his students, understimating them.
As for what she's learned so far on the academy, intro to familiar magic, won't really be of much help on the tournament so it's not listed.
