Mad cool concept, I'd love a shirt like this. What did you do to get that paper texture?

Partly just using brushes that had a texture to them, but I also applied a pattern under layer effects and set it to "vivid light" to get an even more subtle textured look.

I tend to come up with a visual ideas for phrases. "Paper Tiger" popped into my head while I was recounting a conversation with my father, and I liked the imagery that I associated it with.

Oh wow this is amazing
I really like the way that the tiger does seem to be made of paper -- especially with the folds and shadows and overall flat-ness of the body. You did a wonderful job giving it that effect. I also like the general shading and color choices -- and the complementary colors with yellowish orange against teal/turquoise-like blues. The composition came out great and it really is a marvelous image to stare at.

Paper Tiger is a common idea: putting up a brave front that has no substance essentially. A paper tiger looks fierce, but it hasn't the effectiveness of a real tiger.
