TRIVIA:
- Also known as Anqa, anka, anqa mughrib and Anqa al-mughrib.
- males have a comb, 'beard' and reddish and yellowish colors on their wings. females are plain grey with dark wings.
- they are normally hunted for their meat and colorful feathers. you are only allowed to hunt them in late fall to avoid hunting a nesting pair.
- females nest in under bushes or in small holes made by other animals.
- they have a legend around them that Anqha can be over 1700 years old and whoever eat the meat of an Anqha will gain 100 year more to live. of course this only a legend but their meat are seen as a delicacy because of this legend.
