Sepia - Watercolour - 12" x 16" - January 2013I haven't been on DeviantArt too much lately... was so busy with the holidays and trying to keep caught up with work. I've done a few paintings since I last posted and will post them all soon, but wanted to start with this one...
I simply LOVE cats, and wanted to share my precious Sepia with you. I hadn't painted a cat portrait in about a year's time, and had an urge to do so once again. I've since completed another, but this one is still my preference.
There's just something about Sepia...

What size brush do you use for the individual hairs of her fur?

It wasn't a small brush, by any means... maybe an 8, with a nice point on it... which I will have to replace now, as it is not quite so fine anymore
