Another commission for CattyAngelPfft
This looks so weird XD I had no idea how to do the position because I couldn't find any photos of cats flying (because cats don't fly o.o) so I had to use images of cats jumping.. then I had no idea how to do the wings... and yeah this just came out awful V.V
Well I hope it's acceptable... Tell me if I got anything wrong!

Overall I think this piece is very interesting! The pose promotes motion and is supported well by the shading. I find the shape of the wings and feathers unique, but in terms of being atanomically correct (and to be able to actually lift a cat off the ground) they are a bit off. In terms of a reference, I'd look at birds in flight to see how their feathers and wings fold, but yeah finding a ref for a flying cat can be quite difficult!
In terms of style, I really enjoy this! Adding a lot more detail to make it more 'realistic' would ruin the charm that this style has. The character looks quite happy and the expression carries well throughout the piece with the bright colors.
