Finally a proper Xenomorph artwork! HR Giger's designs inspired my artistic style very heavily; for several years when I was young I drew nothing but aliens! It's about time I posted a tribute to the greatest monster of all time!I sketched the alien first with pencil, then painted it with acrylics, and finally scanned it and added the final touches in photoshop. I was inspired by some of the Aliens movie posters with chest-bursters and the like shown in a similar pose. No references were used and I gave it a bit of my personal style, so it isn't an exact replica of the original Alien designs by any means.

wow... i am very tempted to get this permanently inscribed into my skin.
ive been wanting and alien tattoo for a long time, but i cant find an image with the perfect pose, and am finding it just takes so much practice to draw it myself. this isnt what i thought i was looking for, but its just lovely. just proves that years of drawing that same things makes you pretty good at it!
