Arwen's Coronation gown from the third Lord of the Rings film. I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it, and when I found fabric for it one day at an extremely reasonable price, I just couldn't resist! The sleeves are full circles and the body of the dress is a simple shift dress pattern with the neckline adjusted.The neckline and sleeves are embroidered with tiny pearl beads and clear seed beads. Many hours of work went into doing that, but the result was well worth it.

I'm very happy to see and hear yu embroidered and beaded the sleeves yourself. A lot of people use patterned fabric or bought trim for those parts on recreations of that dress, and it's good to see it done properly, as it's well worht the time in terms of how gorgeous it looks done the hard way.
