My entry for #Tamlen-Fan-Club 's 'What if' contest.
What if Tamlen had become the Grey Warden instead of Mahariel? Then Mahariel would've shown up later as the 'tormented shriek'.

So heart breaking, and it also made me glad to know I'm not the only one who wondered what would have happened if it was Tamlen who would have been rescued by Duncan instead of Mahariel.
Or wonder about scenarios like "What Tamlen survived the Joining, only to wake up and discover that Mahariel didn't", or other angsty things like that.

That scene made me cry. I wish I could've said: "I love you too." But then Alistair would've been up in my face.

I think the only emotion was a eyebrow scrunch in the Human Noble origin to show sadness.

Yay! I also heard that we will probably be playing as a new protagonist in DA3. Should be interesting.

I wonder if we'll be looking for the Champion or Warden or both. And who will we be romancing.
And I just found out that Kaidan from mass Effect will be uber pissed I left him for Garrus in Mass Effect 3.

I think it would be very cool if the PC was looking for the champion and warden.
LOL, it is totally his own fault! He'll also be a bit of a hypocrite if he's upset because in his email you sends you he says that he's started seeing a doctor (he does mention it's nothing serious yet though).

PLZ Bioware! Make him see our Amell again! But unfortunately my main Amell romanced Zev. (I wanted Alistair but I killed Isolde, his approval wasn't enough to romance him. So I had Zev instead)

My Amell isn't romancing anyone because she's in love with Cullen. 
I don't know if I'd want them to cure Thane... it has been confirmed that Thane will be alive at the beginning of ME3 though.

I must make another playthrough of FemAmell. And then play DA2 over again.
I like Thane. The way Garrus acts during his romance reminds me of Alistair. HE'S HIS ALIEN REINCARNATION!

I like Thane too, I just can't help but feel uncomfortable romancing him sometimes. I mean, it's rather obvious he's not over his wife so I feel like my FemShep is a sort of replacement sometimes.

Seeing Tamlen as a shriek is one of the saddest moments in all of 'Origins'. Really wish my Warden could have cried. I love that you picked that for this contest. Just lovely, my friend. ♥

When I saw it in the little message thingy, I was like "What's this?" Then I made it big and said to myself "Oh, it's Tamlem." when I recognized the character. Then I looked at the whole picture and said "Oooooooh... It's Tamlem

I didn't think Tamlen could be that strong. Going off of how deeply he felt for her. I could bearly even do it. If he hadn't attacked me I dont think I could have. This is so sad. I miss Tamlen.

I know couldn't Bioware have made it to where he met someother Gray Wardens on thier way to Ostagar who cured him and then he ran away before the battle or was with you in the battle and also go rescured? Or something better written by equallly as happy. I mean you didnt have to make you PC kill him in the end. I just doesnt make for a happy game.

I know how you feel. I know Bioware says that Dragon Age is a dark fantasy, but that doesn't mean they need to make everything so downright depressing.

And I thought DAO was depressing but in DA2... I mean come on. Seriously people your charactor cant be happy for more than 4 seconds. Ya and at the end of the 3rd second the world starts falling apart. The ogres come the apple's posioned The house is on fire. I mean can we not get 5 minutes of happyness? Bioware is sad.
