They're bold, striking creatures! Many don't like them but I find them fascinating

Me too. Even though one time a gull boldly swooped down and stole one of my daughter's plastic toys! We chased him half way across the beach before he finally dropped it in the water. LOL

Yep I always try for 1/1000 or above for in flight shots if I can. I was lucky to get that much at the time, since the sun was just about to set. Thanks!
