Also forgot to point out that the story has some mystery elements to it. It's about love and how far you will go for the people that matter, but also about losing yourself, in a very roundabout way. And tragedy can only strike the hardest when your heart is at stakes. And Magda knows a thing or two about hardships and tragic news even before the story properly starts, so she's got quite a bit of a shell under the frills and such. It's gotta be a strong one, hope she shares it with her beloved.
