Nadene Lebray accepted her award package for the Miss Southern Junior College Beauty Pageant, eagerly looking forward to the leisure boat trip down the Nihil River that came with it. Landing at the Cry-Row International Airport, the only hint she had that things would go terribly awry was the encounter with the strange old woman peddling jewelry at the roadside. Nadene thought the golden ankh-shaped earrings would go well with her assortment of swimwear on the trip, but she didn't understand why the peddler woman kept mumbling "Ramser, Ramser, Ramser,..." as she walked away...But if you really like this image and you want a fun read, check out the narrative written for it by . Reminds me of one of those short-story horror series from the 90s. The premise is that a prof of Egyptian history has a mummy in his basement that wakes up on the anniversary of the marriage he never got to have his consummate with his bride and begins looking for her. Each year the prof provides a virgin-girl for the mummy, but once the girl starts screaming in terror after seeing his face the mummy always tears her apart before returning to his sleep. This time around the prof enlists one of his failing male students to bring the virgin. But she turns the tables on them all by taking her spectacles off so she won't be frightened of the mummies horrifying face and seducing him and turning him on them.

Oooo, that's a cool storyline! I'm going to have to look that one up. The one I remember was from Amazing Stories in the mid-1980s, called "Mummy Daddy" about the stunt-man playing the role of the mummy in a movie filming on location, gets the call that his wife is delivering their child in the hospital, and tries to get there through a series of misunderstandings in the superstitious deep South. It was pretty funny, if I recall correctly, ending with the classic line spoken by a cajun hick, "Oooooh, look, the mummy's a daddy..."

Yeah I can't remember the name of the show it was on or the title of the episode. It was one of those late night horror series from the late 90s though. I've checked every series I can remember from around then but none has an episode that sounds like this.
